Are there any regulations or laws governing Crypto asset transactions (buy/sell) in Indonesia?

Currently, the regulatory authority overseeing Crypto asset transactions in Indonesia is the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) under the Ministry of Trade. Bappebti has established legal rules governing Crypto asset transactions in Regulation No. 13 of 2022 concerning Amendments to Regulation No. 8 of 2021 regarding Guidelines for the Implementation of Trading in the Physical Market of Crypto Assets on the Commodity Exchange. In addition to the aforementioned regulations, Bappebti continually regulates the list of Crypto assets that can be traded in Indonesia, as outlined in Regulation No. 4 of 2023 concerning Amendments to Regulation No. 11 of 2022 regarding the Designation of the List of Tradable Crypto Assets in the Physical Market of Crypto Assets.
