Why is the executed amount of Crypto/Rupiah assets different from the amount displayed on the Confirmation page?

Please note that the prices shown on the Nanovest chart use the mid price, while the prices executed when buying or selling crypto assets use the buy price or sell price.

The mid price is the exchange rate of an asset that is exactly in the middle of the buy price and the sell price.

Example:

The value of a crypto asset is as follows:

  • Buy price: Rp11.000
  • Sell price: Rp10.000

Therefore, the mid price of the crypto asset is:

Mid price = [Rp11.000 + Rp10.000] / 2
= Rp21.000 / 2
= Rp10.500

The buy price and sell price differ from the mid price as Nanovest uses a pricing mechanism that considers various market conditions, such as prices on different exchanges, available liquidity, and several other algorithms to ensure users get the optimal price.

Furthermore, the crypto asset price on the confirmation page is an estimated price, which means the final executed price may differ due to price changes occurring in fractions of a second according to the latest market transactions.
